01 About us

We move good research
into working practice.

Konex Foundation was built around a simple frustration. The knowledge needed to solve hard public problems already exists, yet it rarely reaches the people closest to those problems. We close that gap through technology transfer, putting proven tools and methods into the hands of clinics, classrooms, and local institutions that can use them immediately.

Knowledge only counts when it arrives, in the right hands, in the right language, at the moment a decision is made.

Our digital literacy work meets people where connectivity, devices, and confidence are limited, and our cross sector partnerships bring researchers, engineers, funders, and community organizers into the same room with a shared plan. We publish what we learn, including the parts that did not work, because open evidence is how the next team moves faster.

02 Core values

Three commitments
we can be held to.

Values are only useful when they change decisions. These three shape how we choose projects, publish results, and share credit.

01

Transparency

Every program publishes its budget, its method, and its results, including the outcomes that fell short. Funders and communities read the same report.

02

Innovation

We prototype in the field rather than the boardroom. A tool earns its place only after the people who need it have broken it and told us why.

03

Collaboration

We rarely lead alone. Local partners hold the context, we bring capacity, and ownership of the work stays where the work continues.

03 Impact in numbers

The measure of the
work, as of 2026.

Figures below are drawn from our latest audited program reporting and refreshed each quarter.

0+ Countries Active programs across four regions.
0 Partners Universities, clinics, and civic groups.
0k Lives reached People served through funded programs.
0% Satisfaction Partners who would work with us again.

Numbers open a conversation. The full methodology, sample sizes, and limitations sit in our annual report.

04 Programs

Three programs,
one throughline.

Each program answers a different part of the same question: how does useful knowledge actually travel?

Research & Insights

Field driven studies for policy makers. We design evidence with the people who will use it, then translate findings into briefs a committee can act on inside a single session.

Digital Inclusion

Accessible tools for underserved regions. Low bandwidth software, offline first design, and training built for shared devices and intermittent power.

Collaborative Networks

Connecting experts across borders. Working groups, fellowships, and shared infrastructure that let a solution proven in one city start faster in the next.

05 Leadership

The people
accountable for it.

A small leadership team, deliberately close to the field. Each of them still sits in program reviews every month.
